Rear Sets (v.2 design/ Forward/Up) - BMW S1000RR / HP4 2009-14
SATO RACING Rear Sets (ver.2 design / “Forward/Up”) for 2009-14 BMW S1000RR / ABS and HP4 (part# BMW-S1RSF / BMW-S1RSFA) features a solid one-piece Step Plate that provides 9 adjustable foot peg positions in a useful range for the street and track. Compared to our standard version S1000RR Rear Sets, the range of positions in this version is less rearward-leaning. Can be set up for stock shift or reverse/GP-style shift pattern. Choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have end caps made of protective black Delrin,
Solid, one-piece Step Plate design provides 9 adjustable positions, ranging from stock equivalent position, to positions that move your feet higher up and slightly forward compared to stock.. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
Components are precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, and are fastened together with Stainless Steel bolts and hardware.
The shift lever, shift link and brake use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise movement with a solid feel.
The multi-link shifter can be set up for either stock or reverse (GP-style) shift pattern, using the S1000RR's existing shift rod assembly and frame pass-through. Compatible with standard shift rod (found on the early S1000RR), along with the OEM quick-shifter on later S1000RR / HP4 models.
2 Rear Sets versions: For ABS-equipped and non-ABS models. Rear Sets for non-ABS S1000RR (part# BMW-S1RSF) includes a mechanical type rear brake light switch, along with detailed instructions on how to install it. (ABS version does not require a switch, since the brake light sensor is not located on the rear set.)
Includes a black anodized aluminum exhaust hanger bracket. (Can be removed if not needed).
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
