Frame Sliders - Honda Grom MSX125 2017-20
SATO RACING Frame Sliders (Engine Sliders) for 2017-20 Honda GROM / MSX125* (part# H-GROM17FS) feature tough slider pucks made out of high density, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, for optimal protection from scrapes or more serious damage if you lay it down at speed on the track. The sliders will keep the exposed engine parts and bodywork from touching the pavement, with the slider pucks absorbing and dissipating any potential damage while helping the bike slide smoothly to a controlled stop. The Sliders are mounted above the engine case with high strength anodized billet aluminum brackets and collars, and stainless steel and chrome molybdenum bolts. (L/R Set of 2)
*This set will also technically fit the 2013-16 Grom/ MSX125, but part# H-GROM17FS is designed specifically for compatibility with 2017-20 Grom models that have the oil filler cap that was relocated to the forward part of the engine case. If you have an earlier Grom with the rearward-positioned oil cap, we recommend getting part# H-GROMFS instead.
This kit is designed for use with the OEM engine case. Not recommended if your Grom has an aftermarket case such as Kitako (Modifications to the slider mounting hardware would be necessary to make it fit).
Kit includes zip-ties that can be useful for securing the wiring behind the slider bracket so it isn't coming in contact with the engine.
Recommended for install (not included):
Threadlocker such as Loctite or Vibra Tite
Liquid gasket (not required but might come in handy if there is any oil seeping around the mounting bolts.)
