Front Axle Sliders (Type 2) - Honda CBR1000RR 2008-22 / CBR1000RR-R Fireblade/SP 2020+
SATO RACING Front Axle Sliders (Type2) for 2008-22 Honda CBR1000RR and 2020-23 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade/SP (part# H-CBR120AS2-F) feature tough slider pucks made out of abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, a low-friction material ideal for protecting the bike from scrapes or more serious damage if you lay it down at speed on the track. The sliders will keep the lower fork and front brake parts from touching the pavement in a crash or fallover, with the slider pucks absorbing and dissipating any potential damage. Axle Sliders are fastened to the front axle hub with a specially designed billet aluminum axle adapter bolt and a steel throughbolt.
These ‘Type2’ version sliders feature a black collar that hides the axle adapter bolt on the left side, and a matching longer slider puck on the right side for a cleaner and slightly more symmetrical appearance compared to our original (Type 1) Axle Sliders for CBR1000RR-R.
