SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2006-16 Yamaha YZF-R6 (Part# Y-R606RS) features a track-engineered and competition-proven design, with lightweight, high strength billet aluminum construction. Provides 8 adjustable foot peg positions in a useful range for performance riding on the street or track. Choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish.

Details:

  • High quality, precision CNC-machined billet aluminum, with a deep satin / gloss Black, Silver (natural metal), or vivid Gold anodized finish, fastened together with stainless steel bolts / hardware.

  • The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs include End Caps made of protective high-density black Delrin.

  • Foot Peg can be mounted at 8 unique positions on the Step Plate. The peg positions range from near-stock to more aggressive positions that bring your feet higher up and further back compared to stock. (See Position Chart above for the adjustment range).

  • The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.

  • The shifter and brake pedal uses miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage and to maximize the range of adjustment.

  • The Shift Rod and hardware included in the kit is designed for use with the stock change arm. You can switch from standard (stock) shift pattern to reverse/GP Shift pattern by changing the mounting position of the shift rod on the shift pedal.

  • Includes a hanger bracket to attach the stock exhaust canister. Bracket can be removed if not needed.

  • A pressure-type brake light switch is included in the kit. It attaches to the stock master cylinder. (You will need to bleed the brakes after installing the switch).

  • Includes hardware for relocating the rear brake reservoir on the 2006-07 R6. If you have a 2008-16 R6, a Universal Bracket (part# UB-M650-B, sold separately), or a similar bracket can be used to relocate the reservoir higher up, if needed.

  • Rear Sets kit comes mostly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.

  • A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts such as the brake lever have already had threadlocker applied before tightening.)

NOTE: Not compatible with the 2006+ R6S continuation model of the previous generation R6. (Get part# Y-R603RS instead.)
