SATO RACING Race Concept Racing Rear Sets are pure, no-compromise racing rear sets designed for track-only bikes.
Race Concept Rear Sets (design v.2) for Yamaha YZF-R3 (part# Y-R3RCRS2) features a track-engineered and competition-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Modular adjustable design provides 7 unique foot peg positions in a range that brings your significantly higher up and further back compared to stock, for a more aggressive riding position well-suited for the fast straights and steep lean angles encountered on the track. Choice of Black anodized finish with Gold accents, or Gold anodized finish with contrasting black anodized base plates.
Details:
The foot pegs are fixed type (non-folding) pegs, and have a finely knurled pattern for great grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel.
The heavy-duty Base Plates have a Black anodized finish and provide 7 mounting positions for the rear set assembly.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are Gold anodized aluminum with fluted rubber grips.
Shift linkage attaches to the OEM change arm, and can be set up for stock shift pattern or reverse shift pattern by flipping the change arm so it is pointed the opposite direction.
These ‘design version2’ Race Concept Rear Sets features a Brake Pedal that is mounted inline with the Foot Peg instead of below it, for better clearance with high-mount racing exhausts when the Step Plate is set in the lowest position. Includes hardware for attaching the stock master cylinder.
For track use only. Not compatible with the stock rear brake light pull switch. Not recommended for use on R3 models with the optional ABS brakes.
Includes some basic instructions but does not detail how to remove the stock foot control parts. (Consult a shop manual)
Kit includes a small tube of threadlocker.
