SATO RACING Rear Sets (standard version) for 2015-17 Yamaha YZF-R1* (part# Y-R115RS) features a track-engineered and competition-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of high strength anodized billet aluminum. Adjustable design lets you select from 5 foot peg positions that bring your feet higher up and further back compared to stock, for enhanced control and improved handling at the limit. You can use these Rear Sets with stock shift pattern, or switch them to reverse (GP-style) shift pattern. 'Street'-friendly design - Fully compatible with the stock brake light switch and ABS. Choice of deep Black or vivid Gold anodized finish.

The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of high density black Delrin to help protect them from damage if in contact with the pavement..
Adjustable foot peg mount lets you select from 5 unique peg positions, so you can find the ideal position for your riding style. See Position Chart above for adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shift and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel.
Brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM rear brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design.
Double-ended Shift Pedal has a Black anodized finish, and can be set up for stock shift pattern or reverse (GP style) shift pattern by attaching the Shift Rod to a hole at the forward or rearward end of the pedal.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Threadlocker was already applied to any factory pre-tightened parts such as the brake pedal.)
Kit includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.

If you have the R1S with the conventional shift linkage (no quick-shifter), you will need a longer Shift Rod than what is in the kit, and we can swap in the correct length Shift Rod for that model at no additional charge. Please mention you have an R1S when placing the order.
