Rear Sets - 'Racing version' - KTM 1190 RC8/ RC8 R 2008-15
SATO RACING Rear Sets (v.2 design / ‘Racing Version’) for KTM RC8 / RC8R (part# KTM-RC8RARS) features a range of foot peg positions significantly higher and further back compared to stock, allowing for more aggressive cornering without grinding the pegs. These high quality billet aluminum Rear Sets are anodized in your choice of deep Black or vivid Gold finish.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed type (non-folding), and feature a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Foot Pegs have End Caps made of abrasion-resistant black Delrin.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are also made of black Delrin. The Shift and Brake Pedals each have multiple position holes for attaching the Pedal Tips.
The Shift and Brake Pedals use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation. The Shift linkage has a stock shift pattern but can be set up for reverse / race shift pattern with the addition of the optional Reverse Shift Plate.
Components are precision-machined out of light-weight, high strength billet aluminum and then coated with a protective anodized finish. Bolts are stainless steel.
Adjustable design provides several possible mount points for the Foot Peg on the Step Plate, along with multiple adjustable positions for attaching the Step Plate to the Base Plate, providing an aggressive range of positions that bring your feet further back and significantly higher up compared to the stock foot peg position. (See Position Chart above for adjustment range).
Includes a bracket and hardware to relocate the stock brake fluid reservoir.
Kit includes a small tube of threadlocker. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly).
Includes some basic installation instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock controls (consult a shop manual). We highly recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
For riders who prefer a reverse shifting pattern, there's an optional Reverse Shift Plate that does the trick. We also have a Shift Spindle Holder that works great with the Rear Sets to provide an even sturdier, more sure-footed shift feel. (Recommended with the Reverse Shift Plate). These parts are pictured in the photos, but are sold separately.
