Rear Sets - Kawasaki Ninja 400 / Z400 2018-23
SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2018+ Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Z400* (part# K-25018RS) features an extensively tested design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, with stainless steel bolts and hardware. 4 foot peg positions provided by this set are Up / Back compared to the stock foot peg position, for a more aggressive position well-suited for spirited riding. These premium Rear Sets have a 'street'-friendly design: Fully compatible with the stock brake light switch and ABS. Choice of Black or Gold anodized finish.
*Also fits the similar non-US Kawasaki Ninja 250 / Z250 2018+. The above reference photos are of a 2018 Ninja 250 (Japan-spec) and a 2019 Z400. Compatibility with Ninja 500 / Z500 may also be possible but it hasn’t been confirmed yet by our engineers.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Includes End Caps made of black Delrin.
Adjustable design lets you select from 4 peg positions that bring your feet higher up and further back compared to the stock foot pegs. See Position Chart above for the adjustability range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
Rear brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM rear brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design.
The Shift Rod has a Black anodized finish. The Shift Rod and hardware included in the kit is designed for use with the stock change arm. You can switch from standard (stock) shift pattern to reverse/GP Shift pattern by adjusting the mount angle of the change arm.
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
