SATO RACING Rear Sets Honda RC51 (VTR1000) SP1 / SP2 (part# H-RC51RS) features an extensively track-engineered and competition-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, with stainless steel bolts and hardware. Provides 7 adjustable positions so you can find the ideal position for your riding style. Choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish.

Details:

  • The Foot Pegs are our classic round-style fixed (non-folding) pegs and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Includes end caps made of protective high-density black Delrin.

  • Adjustable Step Plate design lets you select from 7 foot peg positions that bring your feet progressively higher up and back compared to stock. (See Positions Chart).

  • The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.

  • The Shift and Brake pedals use miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel.

  • Shift Pedal, Shift Rod and hardware included in the kit attach to the OEM change arm and provide a dedicated stock shift pattern. (For reverse/GP-style shift pattern, add Reverse Shift Kit part# H-RC51RS-CHAM).

  • Includes black anodized exhaust hanger brackets for the stock exhaust. They attach behind the Base Plates, but can be omitted from the assembly if not needed, such as if you have an aftermarket exhaust.

  • A pressure-type brake light switch that attaches to the master cylinder is included. (Installation requires bleeding the brake).

  • A Brake Return Spring is not required with this kit, but we do offer it as an option: part# RS-RSP.

  • A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-assembled parts such as the shift and brake pedal are already pre-tightened using threadlocker.)

  • Kit includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.

  • NOTE: The photos of the Black and Gold set depict an earlier version of this model. The current version has a slightly different shift lever design with additional adjustment holes at the base.
