Rear Sets - BMW S1000R 2022-23
SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2022-23 BMW S1000R (part# BMW-S100022RS) features a track-engineered design, with components precision CNC-machined out of anodized billet aluminum. Modular adjustable design lets you select from 4 foot peg positions so you can find the ideal position for your riding style. The shift linkage can be set up for stock shift pattern or reverse (GP-style) shift pattern. Choice of all-Black, or Silver or Gold anodized finish with Black Base Plates and Shift Lever.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have end caps made of protective black Delrin.
Adjustable positions - The Foot Peg position is adjustable 2 ways. and the Step Plate can be adjusted 2 ways vertically where it mounts to the frame, for a total of 4 positions. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range. There is another set of pre-drilled holes in the base plate that can provide some additional positions rearward, although these positions are only for use on bikes without the stock exhaust.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
Components are precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, and are fastened together with Stainless Steel bolts and hardware.
The shift lever and brake use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise movement with a solid feel.
The double-ended shift pedal has a black anodized finish, and can be set up for either stock or reverse (GP-style) shift pattern. Compatible with the OEM quick-shifter.
Includes an adjustable black anodized hanger bracket for hanging the stock muffler (might not be compatible with aftermarket exhausts). Hanger can be removed if not needed.
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
