Rear Sets (Type 2) - BMW G310R 2016-24
SATO RACING Type 2 Rear Sets for 2016-24 BMW G310R (part# BMW-G310RS2) omits the exhaust hanger found on our standard G310R Rear Sets. Just like that model, it features a competition-ready design, with components precision machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Modular adjustable design lets you choose from a wide range of foot peg positions that bring your feet higher up and significantly further back compared to stock, for a more aggressive position ideally suited for performance riding on the street or track. Choice of all-Black anodized finish, or Silver or Gold with contrasting Black anodized base plates .
Note: This model is intended for use with high-mount or other non-stock exhaust setup, so there is no exhaust hanger included. It also deletes the stock passenger pegs, so it is for solo riders only..
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have end caps made of protective black Delrin.
Adjustable positions - The Step Plate position can be adjusted diagonally in relation to the Base Plate, and the foot peg position can be adjusted horizontally, for a total of 8 positions. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
Components are precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, and are fastened together with Stainless Steel bolts and hardware.
The shifter and brake use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel.
Includes hardware for attaching the stock rear brake light switch.
Provides a stock shifting pattern. (Reverse/race shift pattern is not an option for this model)
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
NOTE: If you want to retain the passenger pegs, we now offer a version of these Rear Sets with Tandem Brackets that can be used for attaching the stock passenger pegs.
