Rear Sets - Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC 2012-15
SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2012-15 aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC * (part# A-V4RRS) features components precision CNC-machined from light-weight, high strength billet aluminum, and anodized in your choice of Black, Silver or Gold finish. These are true 'lowering' Rear Sets: The 5 adjustable Foot Peg positions provided by this set place your feet more forward and as much as 15mm lower compared to the stock pegs, for a less cramped leg position.
Details:
The shift and brake pedals use miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel.
Shift linkage is optimized for use with the OEM quick-shifter, providing a stock shift pattern. (Reverse/GP shift pattern is not an option with this model).
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for great grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs include End Caps made of protective Delrin.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
Provides 5 adjustable foot positions forward and down compared to stock. (See Positions Chart)
Includes a stainless steel exhaust hanger bracket designed for use with stock low mount exhaust. (can be removed of not needed)
A pressure type brake light switch that attaches to the master cylinder is included. Installation requires bleeding the brake.
Kit includes a small tube of threadlocker. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already been Loctited.)
Rear Sets kit comes partly assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls (consult a shop manual).
* NOTE: These Rear Sets were originally designed for the 2012 V4 R APRC without ABS, but they can also be installed on the 2013-15 ABS-equipped V4 models. If you have an ABS model, let us know and we will include thicker base plate collars for the right side, recommended to provide some additional clearance for the ABS-specific master cylinder.
