Race Concept Rear Sets (design v.1) - Yamaha YZF-R1 2015-17/2018-21
SATO RACING Race Concept Racing Rear Sets are pure, no-compromise racing rear sets designed for track-only bikes.
Race Concept Rear Sets (design v.1/ vr.15) for 2015-21 Yamaha YZF-R1 / M (part# Y-R115RCRS / Y-R118RCRS) features a track-engineered and competition-ready design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, with your choice of Black anodized finish with Gold accents, or Gold over Black. Modular step plate design lets you select from 5 adjustable positions that raise your foot position up to 47.5mm higher and 25mm-45mm further back compared to stock, for a more aggressive riding position well suited for the track. You can set up these Rear Sets for stock shifting pattern or reverse (GP-style) shift pattern.
We have 2 versions of these Rear Sets:
Part# Y-R115RCRS in compatible with 2015-17 R1.
Part# Y-R118RCRS fits 2018-21 R1. (Same design but has slightly different hardware optimized for the 2018+ type quickshifter)
NOTE: Not recommended for street use. Not compatible with stock brake light switch sensor or stock exhaust hanger. Compatibility with ABS may also be affected.
Details:
The foot pegs are fixed type (non-folding) pegs, and have a finely knurled pattern for great grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel.
The heavy-duty Base Plates have a Black anodized finish and provide 5 mounting positions for the rear set assembly. (See Positions Chart)
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are Gold anodized aluminum with fluted rubber grips.
Shift linkage attaches to the OEM quickshifter, and can be set up for stock shift pattern or reverse shift pattern. Rear Sets part# Y-R115RCRS is compatible with the 2015-17 type quickshifter. Part# Y-R118RCRS is the same design , but includes slightly different hardware optimized for use with the 2018-21 spec quickshifter.
For track use only. Not compatible with the stock rear brake light pull switch. Not compatible with the stock exhaust, since there is not an attachment point to hang the muffler from the rear set.
Includes some basic instructions but does not detail how to remove the stock foot control parts. (Consult a shop manual)
Kit includes a small tube of threadlocker.
