SATO RACING Lever Guard is a racing part designed to protect your hands and prevent unintentional engagement of the brake or clutch lever, such as during contact with another rider on the track. It is often fitted to race bikes on the brake side only, but it can also be installed on the clutch side for a symmetrical appearance.

SATO RACING Lever Guard 'type1' part# LG22-H is made of black anodized billet aluminum, and features a center pivot that can be adjusted to any angle for maximum compatibility. This also allows it to be installed on either the left side or right side. The base of the Lever Guard is 22mm diameter to match the diameter of SATO RACING compact-size (22mm diameter) Handle Bar Ends, and is designed to be assembled together with SATO RACING Bar End models for hollow bars part# BE22-1* / BE22-2* / BE22-3/ BE22-4. (NOTE: These Handle Bar Ends are sold separately and are not included in the price of the Lever Guard).

Lever Guard LG22-H includes an integrated black-anodized aluminum spacer collar and 14-16mm expansion sleeve, which can be expanded to 18-19mm with the removable stretch sleeve that is included with the Bar Ends. The integrated Spacer Collar is useful when installing on Honda models or other bikes with stock handlebars that are wide at the opening, then step down to a smaller diameter inside the bars. On other models with standard hollow bars, the spacer collar can be used to add additional clearance between the lever guard and the brake or clutch lever, if needed.

NOTE: This Lever Guard model is designed to be integrated with the hardware included with the SATO RACING Bar End models listed above, and will not work with stock bar ends or other aftermarket bar ends.

* NOTE: If installing a single Lever Guard, we recommend getting Honda-type Bar Ends with Spacer Collars part# BE22-3 or BE22-4, so you get the correct spacer collar for the Bar End side that doesn’t have the Lever Guard. If installing left and right Lever Guards, you can get Bar Ends BE22-1 or BE22-2 instead, since the extra spacers included with BE22-3/ BE22-4 are not necessary with the lever guards.
